Musin'
The weather has been gray and blasé the last few days. The overcast combined with the early darkness released the gray mood daemons. Haven't had much to say. I missed the transit of Mercury due to clouds yesterday. Bummer. But the clouds cleared around midnight, and the dawn glowed gloriously with the rising sun this morning, with a kaliscope of red, golds, and oranges. These colors mixed and segued nicely with the dark night, the dark blue, the light blue, and then the mixture of colors as the morning removed the vestiges of night. I shouldn't find it surprising that my mood is ameliorated, but sunlight and a brilliant morning always seems to do the trick.
The temp is 46° at the moment, which isn't bad at all, by the way, with the afternoon forecast calling for clear skies and sunshine and a high of 74°. It would be nice to have the day off, but one can't have everything. I will just make sure to eat lunch outside today. Soccer is over and I have weekends to myself. Hopefully the weather will hold and I can get one of the boats or kayaks out this weekend.
