Finally got a spike!

So the phal I've had for three years which hasn't been in bloom since it's purchase has decided to finally spike. It's been outside all summer into the fall, and as I was hoping, the cooler fall nights have induced it to spike.

My question is, I have another few weeks until predicted first frost, which I want to avoid. When I bring the plant inside, will it continue to grow the spike and ultimately flower? Is there anything special I need to do once it's moved into the house?
