Finally able to post a pictures

the pond near the bottom is about 900(?)g, the one in the middle about 85G and at the top where the Iris are is about a 35G that has the Iris, Dragon Tail, Impatiens, some others.

There is a smaller fall about 10" behind the island in the large pond that looks like it comnes out from the rocks.

up of the center pond

The black Koi at the diagonal is about 22-24" long and is 9 years old, the others range from 4-6 years

Actually there a 8 large Koi, some are shown here and some small gray fish that appeared (not in pix), presume the eggs came in with a plant a couple years ago.

The island are 3 planters I made setting on a flat rock supported by an ABS pipe stand. The trim, yesterday's additon is a ceiling lighting grate, center cut out, and pea fravel imbedded into the great stuff foam and it floats - it is one piece that I dropped over the island. The is a smaller island in the upper left hand corner of this pond, not well shown.

The corner island in the middle pond (upper left corner os this pond) is a furnace filter covered with great stuff and some pea gravel and has been in place about 3 weeks and is planted with hosta, impatiens, marigold and a cattail.

Obviously, I don't make my living by being a photographer.

Nice ponds, you really have a knack with the plants/flowers. Great water clarity, a real feat for smaller ponds. Beautiful fish!

Thank you for the taking the time to make your wonderfull comments.

Calamity, filtration is still an item i need to improve, the water is not as clear s it looks in the photos, curently the large pond has a 2000G rated pressure filter and I've valved the water flow, hoping about half of the flow goes through the filter. the middle filter has a 1000G rated pressure filter which all he water flow through and goes into the upper pond that has a bunch of sponges that are under the rocks/pea gravel - the pipe from the filter does down into the gravel, so I get filtration in addition to the filter, but I still get a lot of gunck (in my opinion).

if I get ambious, I may make the upper pond more into a skippy type since I have a tee off the line to the waterfall that goes tko the uper pond which I use to top off the middlepond. thr is a drain from the middle pond to the large pon so I can have water flow thrugh all 3 ponds, but if the drain from the middle pond to the large pons gets clogged (it is only 1" - bad choice of size, should have been larger) gets even partially clogged then the middle pond can overflow.

Had I known about this forum before and when I was making the ponds a lot of mistakes would have been avoided, especially, since I did not install a bottom drain.

We do enjoy relaxing by the ponds, we have a cloth gazebo where we eat during the warmer months, some wine and I'm snoozing on he swing that faces the pond.
For those thinking about ponding - think ahead. Had I built the ponds about 3 more feet from the fence, I could have placed the swing or a little eatng area in the corner and been able to look down into the ponds, and had room for an access bridge.

This started out with the wife wanting a small pond which was noton my radar, so in went the pond, now the middle pond - wanta guess who now is the pond person, to me, it certainly beats golf.

Again, thanks for the kind words.
