What is this please?

I was driving and saw this pretty bushy type plant that kind of waterfalls with pinkish white flowers. Busy road so couldn't stop to get better photo. This is located in Orlando Florida. Would like an identification so I can plant one :)

i was going to zing you on your poor photo.. until i realized its thru the windshield ...

then i was going to tell you how to take a pic.. so it came out upright.. but the sign is straight up ...

frankly ... from this pic.. it looks like it feel over.. and i am surprised the city hasnt cut it down for blocking the sign ..

ARE YOU SURE... IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THAT FORM??? .. i have never seen a plant with large diameter trunks growing horizontal ...

Ken - the "trunks" look to me to be something inanimate - maybe a sticker on the car window or something...

If the photo were taken in the Philadelphia area, I'd guess it to be a rose.

LOL ok and I'm kinda lame, but i google mapped where i remembered seeing it on the road and found this older photo. And the flowers are two colored very light pink and white and small, with multiple flowers in one bunch. And I'm assuming a bush since it has lots of thin branches coming from the bottom? Sorry don't know plants too well.

    Yes, it's crepe myrtle.
What a hoot though I was struck with the same thoughs as Ken - as in "which way's up?" and then our poster's name "Ellusionz" was so appropriate.
Thanks to E for her later shot and Carrieb for her window explanation.
Warning, no photoshopping bizarre plants for "name that plant" or you'll drive a few of us crazier than we already are. :-)

That photo a week or so ago of the Podocarpus macrophyllus maki with multi-colored gumdrop fruit (apparently attached to each other and the plant on toothpicks) certainly looked like someone had added to the plant if not the photo! It had us rubbing our eyes in disbelief.

[So sad: the two podocarpus we had when I was a kid never had berries. And the two I have now haven't shown any evidence of berrying ... though they're maybe too young.]

No photoshopping! But really a crepe mertle? I thought those were those over planted trees I see everywhere. How do you make it grow like a bush like that?

Prune it to a single stem (some are sold that way). Depending on its normal height, possibly top it to keep it short (aka "crape murder").

There are dwarf and miniature crape myrtles, weeping varieties, and at least one groundcover!

(Note that these are arranged by height; the sizes given are usually 10-year estimates.)

I hate seeing the crepe murdered trees! Makes such a pretty tree so ugly. I am thankful that the big upright white trees on my property were never mauled. They are absolutely beautiful in their natural state.
Buy the right variety and stop the murders! lol

Ok I went down the street and was able to stop this time, here's a closer and clearer photo! Now we know its a crepe myrtle.. how bout a lil detail on which kind? :)
