Hi, I have a couple hundred banyan seeds, however; nowhere can I find any detailed instructions on how to germinate them. I'm very eager to get them going, especially since spring is right around the corner here in Southern California. So if anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated !!!

Does anyone have any specific directions on germinating the seeds?

Do you stratify the seeds?

Do you soak them in water for 6, 12 , 24 , 36, or even 72 hours before planting them in soil?

Do you place the seeds on top of the soil?
- ( Do they require light to germinate?)-

Or do you place the seeds under the soil? If so, how deep?
