I love these !!! very interested in these in our new house, hopefully soon. As, this house we live in now, was built new (41/2 years old) and only has long kitchen and breakfast area. forgot what you call this ??? long kitchen...but builder didn't put the ceiling lights in, only one panel light in middle of kitchen, I HATE IT...was shocked seeing this, just new he was going to put UPDATE LIGHTS IN IT..Now working on getting the proper lights in kitchen, but I don't know how many to put in??? (I had to move out of my two story house into this home, as one level, I suffered a brain aneurysm...brainogram.org is my news story on this. But would love to talk with you on lighting for our new home hopefully we will build we I get this house in order to sell. UPDATING what should have been done in it..painting, ect...(had cheap paint)

Is your kitchen a galley style where you have counter top and cabinetry on either side? Or do you just have cabinetry on one side? Do you have an island in the middle of the kitchen? Normally it's best to have pendant lights hanging only over a kitchen island or some sort of working counter top area. If you have pendant lights installed over an area that is open, such as the main walking area in a galley style kitchen, they will have to be installed higher, almost to the ceiling to give clearance to walk underneath.
