pump water flow

I have alpine cyclone pump 5200 that someone gave to me and I would like to use it. I have an aqua uv 25w and laguna flo pressurized filter with 25w, my pond is 2100 gallons and according to my uv the pump water flow is too strong for my uv. Is there a way to reduce the pump output so I can use this pump.

Sure. Divert part of your outflow back to the pond or somewhere else by putting in a Y or T connector. You could also add a valve to one side of the Y or T so that the precise needed flow may be set.
