Embedding code into Wordpress.

Everytime I do this I get a large red X next to the image URL box. Any ideas?
I am using the most recent version of Wordpress and my site is hosted by Bluehost.
Kind regards,

Hi there!

You should grab the Image HTML embed code (pick large or small), switch to HTML view in your wordpress New Post editor and paste the code directly in the editor rather than using the Upload/Insert Media dialog.

See attached screenshots.

Note: Shortcodes only work on wordpress.com blogs (not self hosted)

Thanks! My problem is not related to the post itself. It is related to the "featured image" of the post. Attached is a screen shot. I am not sure what I am doing wrong....

Hi isamenton, unfortunately there isn't a way to set the "Featured Image" of a wordpress post with a Houzz image at this point.

If you'd like for the image to show up in your post still, you can embed the image directly in the post.
