I am having a very hard time figuring out what to do with my master bedroom. I am attaching pics and a rough floorplan (guess I'll never be an architect..lol) and here's a few things I'm wondering about. My mbr is two stories and has tons of windows plus a door going out to a patio, which we do not use. I need ideas for window coverings as I have wooden blinds on them currently. I'd like to do some draperies and am wondering if I can keep the blinds on and frame the windows? where should they hang from? should they be a pattern or solid? I love my bed and the wine bar pieces but need some seating. Chairs? sofa? recommendations please. I also need nightstands. The wall the bed is on is small so they need to be on the small side and I'm concerned about the scale? there is an overhang above the bed with recessed lighting so the bed needs to be centered. What about lamps for the sides of the bed? suggestions please. I have an area rug in front of the wine bar at the moment in a swirl pattern but think it is too small. Could I use it with a set of chairs or sofa or do I need one large rug for the whole room? Sorry if I am rambling but trying to toss out all my questions at once. Last but not least, the spindles on the loft area are rustic. Any remedies short of having it completely redone? how would and iron type railing look?
