Small full bath downstairs

This is the main bathroom downstairs. Not too big. Converting bath to shower. The floor leading into the bathroom is a medium dark wood. Any thoughts on a travertine or stone or even porcelain? Looking to make it look a bit more like a show piece, a transitional look. Thoughts appreciated since we are stuck
