Our South Bay TV stations are telling everyone to keep a look out for rattlesnakes that are coming around houses and gardens looking for water because our creeks and reservoirs and lakes have dried up. Just a reminder to be careful around your ponds, and keep an eye on your curious dogs too. I sure am! Min

Never go outside in the dark without a flashlight. When I worked ER we had the most snake bites when people would go out to their cars at night without a light and the snakes were soaking up the heat from the drive way and would be unhappy to be disturbed.
