Is this really a Florida Gardenia bush?

18 years ago

I recently purchased two bushes labeled as Florida Gardenia. The had buds on them and I was excited that I would soon have the wonderful gardenia scent outside my window. But, the flowers have no scent. Does anyone know why? Could they be mislabeled? Is the another bush that looks similar with white flowers that don't have a scent? If anyone has any answers, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks
