I am the proud owner of a 430 (i believe) watt son-agro HPS (high pressure sodium) grow light, this particular (son-agro (sp)) light has a 400 w HPS element and a 30 w MH (metal Halide) element, this is supposed to be the ideal combination for growing plants in all stages indoors (at least available currently). I would like to use this light to propogate tomatos and perhaps other vegetables for outdoor planting, however i have very high hopes and would like to end up with massively fruitful (sp) plants. Are the any veteran, indoor growers out there with some good advice on light requirements, and starting times to maximize end of summer, outdoor fruit output.
