Check the leaves are they the same shape (although smaller) check the growing tip is the same shape as the parent plant if so then its the same and a magnolia

I checked the leaves, but could not tell, because I have seen some seedlings that do look different from the parent. On this seedling the first leaves to grow are big , but then out of the top the leaves look different.
