It looks like Begonia grandis, 'Hardy Begonia'.

I think it looks more like a wax begonia which isn't a hardy variety.

Thanks, susan, kayrn and rosie... i checked out the photo comparisons with the WAXed one and it is almost identical to the one i have... I have a lot of rooted cuttings, would sure like to trade for kiwi plant or grape plant or RED crepe myrtle, you ladies are a wealth of knowledge... oh by the way... drill, drill, drill.... lol
