Hey guys,

I have just bought seeds online for a Bhut Jolokia plant. I know its October and propobly a bad time to start growing a plant but I really want to get into growing plants.

I need your help tho.

I want to start growing my plant as soon as my seeds come in the mail. I live in Southern California and highs average around 78 degrees here. Is this good enough to grow the Bhut Jolokia? If you ever grown a Bhut Jolokia can you give me a quick run-down of how to start growing it in the conditions I am in. I have looked online a lot but there is not much info about California conditions to grow these peppers.

I also dont know what kind of soil to buy, if i need to buy stuff that will help it grow.

I was also planning to make a mini greenhouse out of coca-cola bottle. Is this a good idea or no?

Please help if you know anything about growing peppers!
