i am going to grow my own rootstock and then graft onto them. i was just going to get generic seed from F.W. Schumacher but i have read that Colby and Giles make excellent rootstock. anybody know where to get seeds? i have written to Lovelace Seeds and also Harper Hill Farm. not sure yet if they have any. The only other places i know of are the kansas nut grower's association and Jim Wilson in Nevada, MO. i will have to call them cause they have no email listed. i read about these 4 sources in a Missouri University document from 2000. kinda old. google has not produced any answers for me.
