Looks like two of my cats are visiting you.

Yes, they are granite, though it's hard to tell w/the mud on the big one--waiting for some more rain to wash them off. I wasn't strong enough to flip it over alone. The cats in the photo are Screech and Foxy, our resident rock inspectors, do your felines assist you, too, Botann?

Yes, my cats assist me. In a supervisory posistion, of course. They also do final inspection to test the walkability of the finished project. Finished?!! Did I say finished? I should have said "ongoing project". It seems as if nothing is ever finished here. I like it that way. Working for yourself is the best form of relaxation I know. Besides,I'm a smarter quarterback on monday morning so there is always some re-arranging to do both with rocks and plants. ;-)

You're very right about the projects being ongoing, I don't think I've ever met a gardener who said their landscape was finished either! We're about 3 projects behind right now, lol. Still trying to get the new rock 'escarpment' done, it's turning out fairly well, but will need much fine tuning...here's some pics of the progress so far: {{gwi:286316}}
