Hello all~

Quick question about using landscape fabric for my sloped rock wall-- how big of a hole should I leave so that the plants will be able to grow and spread? I have read using the "X" method causes too many problems.
Also, what should I cover the hole area with? Would small rock inhibit the growth of perennials from underneath? If so, what is a good alternative.
