I planted my lotus seeds in pots and dropped them into 55 gallon drums that had been cut. Now....what do I need to do to them so they survive the winter? can I bring them in and put in dark basement? Do I need to drop them into pond? Netted of course, to keep Koi off of them. If I drop into pond, what do I do about the leaves? Some are green, some are ready to be cut off. I know its late in the year but this is the first chance I have had. I was really hoping I could put in basement, just in the pots wrapped in plastic bags. Help Please!!!
