We have so much water on our property that when it snows, I move the snow well away from the house and garage so it wont cause a flood later when it melts. It was killing me to move all that snow. (no snow blower, just a shovel in our house) So I got the idea to buy a plastic, two person toboggan for $7 on sale to haul the snow away. Worked great in the blizzard we had today. That little sled glided over the snow like silk as I pulled it. I use my foot to tip it over and dump the snow. I decided to bring it inside the house so it wouldnt get buried in the storm. That's when it hit me - it is a perfect place for all our snow covered boots and shoes. It has ridges in the bottom for drainage, the low sides keep the water in the toboggan. Has the perfect rectangular shape, wide enough for my husband's 15EEEE shoes. It's long enough for us and any guest's shoes. Looks quite nice really and it's a better size, and much sturdier than the boot trays sold in stores. This would be great for any muddy, messy garden items and would even be a really good potting tray. I threw away all the soggy newspapers and yucky carpet remnants we had for our wet shoes. This is a good time to buy a toboggan as they are being marked down and moved out of the stores
