Bending 2x4 plastic lumber

Hi,

Just bought some 2x4 plastic lumber to use as edging. I kind of wanted the 2x (actually not much more than 1" thick) to act as a mow strip so I could more easily prevent grass from getting into a stacked stone retaining wall. However, after getting home I realized that it will be tough to make some of my radii of 6' or so.

In woodworking, we often kerf the outside radius but I don't know if this will work well with plastic since it has no grain and might snap on the kerf.

Also, the link below is an article on heating it - might be a little difficult but I suppose I could do it section by section.

Thanks for any tips.
