I bought tulips in biodegradeable pots that have about 4 inches of green stalk showing (no bloom yet) with plans to plant them in a garden bed I prepared around our shed. I also bought pansies and impatients in seed packets. What I'd LIKE to see is pansies in the front of the bed and tulips lining the back. Can I plant the pansy seeds and the already half grown tulips together at the same time? I'm wondering if I can plant the tulips now, the way they are - most people plant bulbs right? I know not to plant before threat of frost is over. Thanks for any help!
