Lessons learned

When planting seeds for something new put a stick or marker in the ground and 4 or 5 seeds around it. This way when they start to sprout you will know what the little buggers look like!

I started an herb garden this year with 25 different herbs I have never grown. Three weeks later and things are sprouting! But, lots of things are sprouting and it is difficult to know what are the herbs and what are other things. I have been playing 'which of these is not like the others and only grows in this bed.' Glad the neighbors can't see me kneeling and peering close at the ground trying to tell the difference between little sprouts!
