Soaker hose problems

I'm using some black rubber soaker hoses from Lowes but they're acting strangely. Most of the water seems to be coming out of the last 10 feet. It's a 25' hose attached to a 75' one. Also, I took out the little blue disks from the nozzles to see if that would help. It seems to make the water pressure in the hose a little higher. Am I doing something wrong?

I have heard that one limitation of soaker hoses is the length. At 75', you might be just getting things OK, but at 100', it might be having problems.

Try the 25' segment up to the water connection by itself, and see if it is doing OK. If it is, then you can know that it's something related to the 75 and 25-foot segments together.

The blue disc is supposed to help regulate the flow of water, so yes, removing it would make water flow to it faster.
