I have a large tree that is split down the middle in my backyard. I'm afraid one side of the tree may fall on my house and I need to know the best way to cut the tree back at this time of year. I think it is a mulberry tree, although it doesn't produce any berries. I don't really want to have the tree completely cut down, so any advise will be great. One side of the tree has 2 main branches coming out that have rather tall limbs that blow in the wind and looks like it will cause the tree to split even more, or even fall. The main branches are 10-12 inches in diameter. I have uploaded one picture but can't see how to upload any more. Any advise appreciated. I will try to upload more pictures. Thanks.
