Ant nest found...in brick veneer

Just finally managed to trace ants back to their nest...they're going back and forth from a TINY hole a couple of inches from the ground in my house's brick.

How would people advise I proceed? I started baiting inside with sugar water and borax 2 days ago - doesn't seem to have killed the nest yet. Should I try sprinkle Diatomaceous Earth around the nest?

Any other advise? The hole is TINY. They're tiny black ants by the way, guessing either sugar ants or odorous ants.

thanks,

David
