second bush or long roots?

I have a cutting of Abraham Darby that I planted a year and half ago. It immediately took off and has gotten huge. About 8 inches from the bush, a second grouping of canes is coming up but they aren't close to the main part of the bush.

My question is- Is this a second plant that sprouted up from the roots like a sucker (I don't know if that's possible) or is it the same plant just really far apart? And if it is a second plant, Can I dig up that part of the plant to transplant without killing both bushes?

If you grew it from a cutting it is most likely a second bush coming from the roots. If this is so it will look just like the AD you already have. It could also be a rose growing from the roots of a rose that was dug out from that area.

After it gets some good size you can dig down and cut the new rose away from the main bush.

Thanks Lance. I think it must be a second rose since there has never been a rose bush growing there. Both bloomed AD last year so I'm guessing I can move the second one- I don't love where it's sprouted, anyway.
