I've recently had WONDERFUL luck with a product called Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent. I had good luck with Blood Meal around my hostas, but I couldn't use it on my morning glories b/c too much nitrogen will suppress the blooms on morning glories.

The bottom 12" of my MGs was TOTALLY stripped of foliage, and almost every day I'd find a new stem that was severed completely, killing off 6-10 feet of MG vine. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Then I discovered Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent -- I was skeptical, but figured I didn't have much to lose. And within a week I noticed that leaves were growing at the bottom of my morning glories.... and not disappearing! Three weeks later, still no sign of Little Bunny Foo Foo.

WARNING -- this stuff smells like a cross between "wet dog" and "vomit" -- or, as my neighbors now know it, the "vomiting wet dog" spray. Until it dries, you will smell it up to 50' away, so plan accordingly. (I do mine at night -- smell is gone in the morning, and so are the bunnies!)

It really does work..... and no, I don't work for the company, nor do I own their stock! :oD

I also use Liquid Fence and it's great. My husband has to do the spraying though because the smell gives me that instant gag reflex and I really can't handle it. DO NOT SPRAY THIS RIGHT BEFORE HAVING COMPANY OVER FOR A COOKOUT OR POOL PARTY! Give yourself at least a full day before inviting company over after spraying this stuff. :)
