I dought it, If you left it out for a year or two it would start to splinter.

Where I used to work, rotted utility poles would get
'tied off' with nylon rope until time could be found
to replace them. Sometimes they were that way for
years of wintertime ice and snow. The rope got a little
'fuzzy' on the outside, but was still plenty strong.

The rope will be protected from sunlight by the snow. If there are some sections exposed, you could shovel some snow over that section. Nylon will degrade over time when exposed to sunlight and also the atmosphere which contains ozone, but it is a slow process. I don't think you will see significant weakening over a two month period.
