Nylon rope, left outside?

Hi,

I took down a large soft maple last weekend (36" at the base). To get it to lean properly, I attached a 1" thick nylon rope. Using a 1 ton come-along, I was able to get the tree to fall perfectly.

Unfortunately, the rope caught under the large part of the tree. I didn't get enough bucking done last weekend to move the large stick, and now the rope is under the snow.

There is snow and ice everywhere. I prefer to leave it for now. Question is - will the rope get damaged under the snow, for maybe a month or two?
