honda 724 snowblower that has a chute deflector which controls height of thrown snow using a lever and cable.
when i pull the lever to adjust, it has a lot of resistance. feels like i'll snap the cable if i pull it any harder. when i manually slack the cable, it also takes it a while to take up the slack. my feeling is there is a lot of friction between the cable and housing.
up until the last snowfall, it was working perfectly the rest of the season.
please advise.
thanks.
