Maybe better control of the edger as you use it along side the walk or any border trim. I'd think the double wheel would be better. I'm not an expert on them, but all the ones i have found in the dump, got the heave ho because they were a pain to use. I ground off more of my front walk edges, before i gave it up as not worth the trouble.

I used one as a kid growing up, and we didn't have much trouble. Just had to be very careful with the aim. I think I will go with the single edge for now.
