I have a 10 hp Noma 30", the problem that I have is the augers don't turn, the impeller does. But when the machine is off and I try to turn the augers, they won't turn. I also had someone help me for a second to hold the controls while the impeller was turning and the auger were not turning, so I took a board and spun the auger on one side and both started to turn for a few seconds after. I believe there is somthing wrong in the gear box in the auger area. The front sides of the where the auger attaches come off. Is this the best way to fix this without removing the whole shaft that the auger assembly is on.
