HD 1500 HSDS pressure washer

Hi,

I have a pressure washer that had a failed GFCI (attached to the electrical cord) so I removed the GFCI and added a standard three-prong connector to the unit that I proceed to plug into a standalone GFCI unit. I plug my electrical leaf blower to this GFCI unit as well being that I'm blowing leaves around a swimming pool.

after working like this for over a year, my pressure washer will now turn on and work for 15-30 seconds then shutoff. The GFCI unit does not bounce or anything like that. I off/on the pressure washer with no avail.

I can get it to work the next day with the same outcome.

Is there anything else that I can try before I have to purchase another unit?

thanks in advance
