Looks to be a 1979 Model "Horse" with the 4-speed transmission. This based upon a list of serial numbers in a link provided to me by another member here.

I'm so new to Troy-Bilt Tillers....more information will most certainly be forthcoming.

Can you I.D. the engine make? If you can, someone can help you come up with your tiller's H.P.

Thanks for the response Bob.It has a B/S engine(can't see any numbers on it),I'll clean it up when I get the time.The tiller looks to be in good conition ,needs a good cleaning.Thanks

Correction: I cleaned the tiller, the engine is a Tecumseh HH60(6hp). I'll probally change the oil in the engine and transmission, do a tune-up on the engine,replace the fuel tank, tines, and replace a few missing bolts. Then it should be ready to go. Thanks

I have a Troy-bilt Horse of approximately the same age. We bought it used in 1980. They don't make them like that anymore but luckily parts are still readily available. I wouldn't part with mine.
