I recently received this tiller as a gift. Unfortunately it has had a very rough life. I understand that the s/n is on the top right of the trans housing,but there are no numbers stamped there.I did find numbers(397)stamped on the top left side of the belt housing. It does run, it has been short-blocked, and the tag on the recoil starter housing is missing. A friend said "it might be pre-1960" any help with ID and the possibility obtaining parts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, jb
