greenhouse shading question??

I have a HFGH. I'm trying to figure out what I should use to cool it during the summer. I'm considering a white shade cloth. But....has anyone ever considered that cling-on material used on windows to tint and keep out heat? Any thoughts out there?

Thanks!

I hadn't though of that but if it works that is what I am going to try. Can't wait to hear the answers and suggestions on this one.

I know, it just seems so obvious, easy and removable! I am truly curious!

I am curious myself. I have plans to buy some film this weekend I saw at home depot. They had 50 and 75% blocking of which I plan to buy the 75% which will cost around $75 to cover the west end of my lean-to, and $45 to do my vent.
Let me know of your success/regrets re. window film.

Thanks,

Kendall

My concern would be, first the cost. Second, condensation.
Would the humidity rise at night cause it fall off?
Let us know how it works out Kendall.
