My new-to-me 715 BCS

Hey all,

Just thought you'd like to see my replacement for my good old 205. I'm gonna miss the girl. She went to a good home where she'll be loved until they get a bigger unit.

I took my new-to-me 715 out for the first time today and WOW! It REALLY throws snow. I'll bet it averaged 25 feet no problem. Not bad for a single stage snow blower, eh? This record setting year for snowfall in the Madison WI area is starting to look up!

Now I need to get some parts - freewheel extensions, crank for chute direction, bracket for crank, cable for deflector angle - and I'll really be in business.

BCS machines have an excellent reputation, you ought to enjoy it.

I really do like it. The only thing I wish is that I had found a 725 for a slower ground speed. This one goes waaaay too fast in deep snow. The engine is so powerful that it powers through tough spots but it's still too fast.

My previous blower was an Ariens 2.7 hp 20 inch and the one before that was a Toro 421. This thing could eat those for lunch and still have room for dessert.
