Garden Way Chipper Vac Engine info

Does anyone know the size of the shaft of the 4HP Tecumseh engine used on the Garden Way Chp/Vac? I'd like to go up in Hp with a different engine, due to mine having a crack in the block. If anyone knows where to get the engine or how to measure the shaft, could you send me the information via this post or send it to my email address: ronald_thomas6627@sbcglobal.net. Thanks

Remove the engine and measure it, likely 3/4". You can go to a 6hp with no problem.
