I am still running a very old green machine but the line cutter disappeared long ago.

A google search did not find any aftermarket cutters to attach to the shield so I am wondering if there is anything else that I can put on there to control the length of the line as I cut.

I have a bump head on this machine and the line gets pretty long quickly. I can stop and cut the line manually but would prefer just installing a cutter.

Anyone here made or bought a cutter for the shields?
