A relative gave me a ryobi 780 series trimmer, which has not been used for 5yrs. I was able to start it, but the lines and primer bulb were dried out. I replaced the fuel lines and primer bulb, but in the process, the second line going to the gas tank attaches to a small plastic piece, which also was dried out and broke in two. Unfortunately, I don't see where I can buy that particular piece without buying a whole new gas tank. Basically, what use is it, and can I rig something up to replace it without buying a new gas tank
