Creating a 'solid wall' in a GH for attching various widgets

My clever hubby came up with an easy solution to the problem of mounting various objects to the interior

"walls" of my aluminum and polycarb GH, and I thought I'd share it.

He mounted solid vinyl trim boards horizontally along the GH wall 5 ft up from the floor, just right for my height and reach over benches, attaching them to the polybars with SS hex bolts, leaving a nice, sturdy swath of solid material, to which anything can be attached with only nails or standard screws.

The "items" will be water lines (below the electrical boxes mounted just above the boards) and air lines, for my fish tanks.

The boards, sold as "1 x 6" are actually, 5-1/2 X 1-1/2, just like standard wood boards, but of course, being vinyl, are rotproof. Otherwise, they cut and drill the same.

What I will really like, will be the easy means of adding J hooks for nets and other bits, just as I can any other wall and if the boards ever become so riddled with excess holes as to be unusable, they can be unbolted and replaced, as the vinyl water and air lines will be held to the boards with vinyl "U" straps, using cheap screws instead of the pricey SS hex bolts, and so also easily replaced.

It's all finally coming together!
