Honda does not supply complete replacement engines for their products. Their general purpose engines have SAE bolt patterns and pto's to match American equipment. You should be able to adapt with a pulley and drilling new mount holes if necessary.

I've got the F500 with a GX160 Honda motor. The mounting plate on the tiller is slotted, newer engine is slid mostly forward in the slots shimmed up about 3/16" with a pair of washers at each mounting bolt-4 places. May have to experiment with belt length. This is definitely a different motor than original complete with solid state ignition.REJ2.

Canguy, Honda does provide replacement engines for their products. Not sure where you got that idea. The original engine on this old machine may indeed no longer be available as a complete engine but only due to being out of production for so long.

Hmm, I will check into that. I have never seen one or a catalogue listing for the all metric engines.

Engines for their equipment has to be bought through service dealers for the equipment. I don't know that you will find the list unless you are a Honda power equipment dealer. There are some engine such as used in the little EU generaters that only have parts. These engines are tied to the gen side in a pretty much a dedicated manner but engines that can be removed as a complete unit independent of the rest of the equipment are available.

As suggested, the old tiller engine was probably a flathead and those are dead as well as some older OHV's.
