Hi folks! last fall, I bought a craftsman trimmer like this one.

It ran fine the first two times that I used it, but it's really weak on the top end. Aside from using the blower a couple times, it spent the winter in the garage. Now, I notice the top-end problem is really pronounced, in fact, I can barely cut regular-thickness grass without it bogging down on me. I have to back off the throttle, and stop cutting. After about 10 minutes of use, it won't even run unless I take the air filter off. Then I get about another 4 minutes before it won't run anymore.

Anyway, I bought fresh gas for it, and the problem is still the same. Unfortunately, I wasted the 90-day waranty over the winter time. What should I do? Looking at the comments on the craftsman site, this is not an uncommon problem with this model.

I wanted to adjust the carburator, but it has those weird little proprietary screws (but I'm sure I can get around that). Which side is the top-end screw on these carbs?
