Husqvarna Fuel Line Question

I recently discovered that the (black) fuel line from the tank to the carburetor on my 322L trimmer had developed a break at the fuel tank grommet. Thinking this would be a simple fix, I went to my local hardware store to buy a piece of fuel line ... where I purchased a piece of 3/16"OD Tygon, only to discover that the outside diameter was a bit too small to fit snuggly in the grommet (and seal off the hole properly). So I went back to the store with the grommet, only to discover that the next size up (1/4"OD) seemed to be a bit too large!

Anyone know what the proper OD/ID size is for my trimmer?

It's probably a part # from husky, thats the way to make money for the manf. Homelite got away with it for years like Sears,etc.

Tygon makes dozens of sizes, you need to find another dealer.

McMaster-Carr has the right stuff. You have to buy 25 or 50 feet at a time. 7/32 OD. I'm still working off 25 feet I bought 2 years ago. Lot cheaper than 10 or 12 inches at a time from Home Depot.

I looked at the McMaster-Carr catalog, but the only 7/32"OD hose I found was black PVC that wasn't rated for gasoline. I found no such OD in the Tygon line!

I made a mistake. Correct Tygon is 5552K221. Page 104.
3/16 OD x 3/32 ID x 3/64 WA.

This is thicker wall than normal bulk PVC line. Same 3/32 ID to fit barbs.

I thought you said the correct OD was 7/32" ... but 5552K221 is 3/16"??
