I acquired the same saw about 10 years ago used once for $15. That was the worst 15 bucks I ever spent. I keep it around (not running because that's how it spent most of it's time when I needed it)as a memory jogger in case I ever get tempted again. I couldn't find any books on it either. If it's running good now, I'd take advantage of the opportunity and let someone else acquire it from you. If it's not running, and you value your time and sanity, give it away.

I have the same saw. My father in law gave it to me because it was used a few times and wouldn't start. I took the carb off and cleaned it up. I got it running again. A little while later it wouldn't run without the choke on. Turns out I had cracked fuel lines. I replaced those, now it runs pretty good. Still have to play with the high and low mixture screws. I have the manual, but not in pdf form. I'll try to scan it. If it comes out ok, I'll try to post it here.

in response to yaki and den69 - i have had a mac 3200 for 15-20 years and i cannot get it to fail- yes i tried for the longest time so i could bring a new saw that was given to me into service - the doggone thing won't quit no matter how i've abused it.
