Cranheim,I too am looking around for a new compressor, but it seems that everywhere I look, all I see are the 'oiless'
types, (which I dispise, due to their noisiness).
Where did you find the Rol-Air, and how much was it?

I purchased it locally at Costal Tool in West Hartford, CT. for $695. I have seen then on the internet for less. I purchased it locally because I wanted to see what I am buying. If you go to rolair.com, you can get a lot of information about them, including specs, parts manuals, part prices, and operator manuals. You can't get service manuals. They do not tell you where to buy them. However, there are phone numbers and email addresses listed you can use to contact them.

I believe they are made 20 miles from here(Hustisford Wisconsin)Good unit.

like quality items. I can't seem to locate any dealers
in my area, so I would have to buy online and pay high
'freight charges', as they are too heavy for UPS or
FEDEX.

Have you contacted Rolair to see if they know of any dealers in your area? If there are no dealers, perhaps they can give you a local contact for warranty and repairs in the event you decide to order one via the internet. If I had no dealer or parts and warranty support in my area, I would think twice about buying a Rolair product. As good as they appear to be, if something should go wrong with it, you sure don't want to send it to the factory at your expense for warranty service. That would be a real problem. My unit weighs 200 lbs. It would have to be attached to a skid and covered for shipment.
