my guess would be a 'Yes'...you'll probably need room for at least a ladder to apply the panels.

I agree with dave not only will you need room for putting on the clips but in time you will want to wash the outside panels and need room for a step ladder

Thanks! I've been reading all the old threads on HFGH and your names came up so often that I almost feel like I know both of you!
I've been in touch with Jimmy via email and he agreed with both of you so I will be allowing some 4 ft all around the GH. We're getting it first week of October and I hope to have it up by October 30th.
We got a start on the prep work today by clearing out an old swimming pool that sat on the spot where I want the GH to go. The deck will have to be extended about 6 ft in order to allow for the space around the GH.
