Echo Trimmer and Rapid Loader Head

I bought the Echo GT-200R trimmer today and haven't even been able to try it out.

Here's the problem:

The trimmer came with a bag of pre cut lines to load the head with.

Here is All that is said about doing that in the manual:

"Thread new lines through outside holes in housing until ends meet in center of recess"

I've done this over and over again with the same results .. They just fall out!

Heck, forget trying to crank on the rope, just setting the trimmer down lightly after putting the string lines into the holes .. they fall out!

Am I missing something here?

Shouldn't there be some kind of locking mechanism to hold these things in?

Thank You

Mc
