Question about hoophouse rows

I'm staking out a temporary 10x15 foot PVC hoophouse today. The end walls will face east and west and be sealed with a door on the west side. Heating, ventilation, and insulation have been accounted for, I think.

It will have a typical center aisle and two rows. I want to grow a row of tomatoes and have a row for piddling, seed starting, storage, etc. So, here's my question. Would you run the tomatoes down the south or north row? Does it matter? My guess is that the sun will cause "hot spots" on the film along the south side row. But I don't know if that's right, or if so, if I should plant there or avoid it?

Also as a bonus question, it has 7.5 foot center ridge height. Would there be any benefit to lining a portion of the north side or the end walls with mylar? I'll be pulling a solar pool cover over it on necessary nights. My pool is 16' wide so this works nicely for the "hoop", but not the endwalls.
